They have been built for hard, routine use and a very long life-span. No modern electrophoresis laboratory should be without one. The PHERO-temp gel dryers are available in two different sizes for every application. The smallest model has a drying area of approx. 22 x 40 cm and the largest an area of approx. 40 x 60 cm. A special plastic frit is used as the support surface for gels. This material, in combination with the specially constructed metal surface, guarantees an even vacuum over the entire drying area. The electronically controlled temperature regulator avoids jumps in temperature. Warm-up is extremely steady and consistent. The drying temperature remains constant within very narrow limits. You can vary the temperature between +30°C and +90°C. Over-heating safe-guards will protect your gels against excessively high temperatures. The PHERO-temp range have been tested by an independent institute and awarded the CE mark. \u003cbr\u003eThey come with mains cable and operating instructions as standard. A timer (0-6 hours) built into the apparatus is available as an accessory.
