CERAN® - an extraordinary glass ceramic - extremely resistant to breakage and changes of temperature, will not distort, permeable to ultra-violet light and also highly acid-resistant.
Construction: the low-mass CERAN® plate is electrically heated over its full surface, and is embedded into a high-grade, stainless steel frame which is mounted on an internally insulated stainless steel housing.
The temperature control is regulated by an electronic NiCr-Ni temperature sensor (regulating range between 50 and 500°C). The controller is built into a pressure-cast aluminium casing. The heating time for 500°C is approximately 8 minutes.
In the EB Series the electrical connection between the controller and the hotplate is protected by a flexible metal hose.

HIGH TEMPERATURE TITAN HOTPLATE for operation up to 600°C
High-performance hotplate for temperatures up to 600°C with a very short heating-up time (600°C within 20 minutes). The extremely efficient insulation allows the appliance to also be used on working surfaces which are not heat-resistant. The insulated hinged lid has been designed to keep heat loss to the absolute minimum.
The temperature can either be controlled with a temperature or programme controller. With the temperature controller the hotplate's complete heating surface is held at a constant selected temperature.
The programme controller allows so-called temperature profiles to be worked with, i.e. selected heating-up, cooling off and stop phases (maximum of 5 stages) can be programmed, whereby each phase can last up to 5 hours 59 minutes.

CERAN® - is an extraordinary glass ceramic - highly resistant to breakage and temperature changes, will not distort, permeable to ultra-violet light and also highly acid-resistant.

Gestigkeit Precision hotplates desktop device
The upper surfaces of the precision hotplates are composed of an extremely efficient heat-conducting Aluminium alloy and have a smooth, easy to maintain, oxidised coating. The electrical long-term heating has been designed to ensure that even on the corners and edges of the plate, the temperature remains uniform.
The microprocessor controlled digital instrument allows the operating temperature to be preset in 0.1°C divisions up to 99,9°C and in1°C divisions for temperatures over 100°C. The preset temperature remains programmed even when the device has been switched off. In order to prevent unintentional alterations by accidentally pressing one key, presetting is only possible by using two fingers. The actual temperature is constantly indicated by 14 mm high digits after the keys have been released.
All models are fitted with an electronic output controller allowing the heating output to be adjusted from 10 to 100 % in order to prevent the hotplate exceeding the preset temperature and/or to prevent any afterheating effect. The temperature of all precision hotplates is measured with a built-in, quick-reaction sensor (PT 100).
All models are equipped with a 3-pole diode output bushing (extra-low voltage) to allow the connection of either a contact thermometer or a time switch in order to heat or cool the appliance at preset intervals. Temperature fuses to prevent overheating are also available in various triggering stages.

Gestigkeit Precision hotplates desktop device 450°C
PZ 44 is a hot plate with automatic control for precise temperatures from 20 to 450°C. The required temperature is preset on the digital controller and remains automatically constant. The actual temperature is continuously displayed with 13 mm high numbers.
The long-lasting electrical heating unit can be used in three heating stages - 825 - 1650 - 3300 Watt. Each stage can be finely tuned from 10 to 100% by an electronic output control to prevent overheating and any afterheating due to excessive power. The heating stages 825 and 3300 Watt, heat the total area of the plate. The special 1650 Watt stage heats only the righthand section of the plate. Due to creeping heat, the temperature drops off from the right-hand section to the left-hand plate edge, by approx. 40% (temperature decline)
The hot plate is constructed of solid, low-distortion GG 15 casting. Cold housing, also in continuous operation. Material No. 1.4301, from rustproof high grade steel.
