LuxaScope Auris LED Otoscope
The LuxaScope Auris from Luxamed is an innovative, LED pocket otoscope that provides optimal lighting for the auditory canal and eardrum thanks to its LED ring technology. The LEDs have a bulb life of approx. 100,000 hours and provide a lighting intensity of 10,000 lux and do not restrict the field of vision.
The dimmable LED otoscope has a swivelling 3x magnifying glass, an insufflation port to carry out pneumatic eardrum testing and an electronic ON-OFF pressure switch.
The LuxaScope Auris is available as a battery-operated 2.5 V otoscope or as a 3.7 V otoscope with a USB-chargeable, lithium-ion battery.

The LuxaScope Auris LED Otoscope Head features a powerful LED ring with six concentrically arranged LEDs, providing uniform illumination of approx. 10,000 lux with a colour temperature of around 4,250 K – completely without fibre optics and without limiting the field of view.
The dimmable light is exceptionally durable thanks to constant current control (LED lifespan approx. 100,000 h) and maintenance-free as no bulb replacement is necessary. An automatic shut-off after three minutes further enhances energy efficiency. The optimised head design includes a pivoting 3x magnifying lens with click-stop function and an insufflation port for pneumatic tests, ensuring comfortable and precise diagnostics.
