What’s more:
- Brand new hardware design – small footprint, larger workspace
- Neat cable management to avoid clutter
- Scalable with other devices, compatible with the Mindray modular patient monitor to reduce the cost

The Mindray A8 is an inhalation anesthesia machine for highly effective and safe anesthesia with predictable treatment results. It features user-friendly controls, automatic parameter control, and built-in options for reducing anesthetic dose.

Features of the device
Increased oxygenation time
The Mindray A8's HFNC option extends the safe duration of oxygenation for apnea patients by up to half an hour. This allows for seamless intubation of patients with low oxygen saturation or difficult airways.
Safe low flow
The Multi-Gas module comprehensively analyzes gases and automatically detects anesthetic agents. The status forecast option allows you to view the FiAA and EtAA status for the next 20 minutes, as well as check data for the previous 10 minutes.
Protective ventilation
The Mindray A8 provides continuous transpulmonary pressure monitoring, independently monitoring esophageal pressure to support individualized ventilation settings. Indicators provide clinicians with clear guidance on appropriate tidal volume settings to prevent barotrauma.
Automatic system control
Mindray A8's innovative software technologies automatically check component operation and display error correction values on the screen. Before operation, the device runs a scheduled check to save preparation time. All tests are completed in 3.5 minutes.
Possibility of individual settings
For different anesthesia scenarios, you can manually set your own parameters: set default values, select a monitor interface option, and configure system settings.
Ease of use
Precise indicators allow you to monitor operating parameters and help promptly correct errors. APL valve illumination and adjustable screen backlight brightness facilitate operation in low-light conditions.
Green Operating Room Strategy
The device reduces the amount of anesthetic during anesthesia to ensure patient and staff safety and reduce drug costs. A set of integrated tools alerts physicians to a decrease in fresh gas flow. The e-AGSS option monitors gas flow rates and indicates any deviations, automatically shutting down during non-operating periods to optimize energy consumption.

The status screen displays tidal volume and dynamic lungs during ventilation.
Mindray A9 Anaesthesia System
With appreciation for established ways of working, the Mindray Anaesthetic Machine A9 retains many traditional features while also introducing some cutting-edge technologies to allow intuitive and safe management of the anesthetic procedure for broad patient populations.
Introducing the New Safety

High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
HFNC extends the safe apnoeic oxygenation time to 30min during induction. It helps clinicians intubate more easily, especially for patients with poor oxygen saturation such as bariatric, paediatric, critically ill or difficult airway.
Automatic Control Anaesthesia (ACA)
Protective Ventilation
Lung Recruitment Tool: stepwise PEEP and sustained inflation are provided as two optional maneuvers.
TV/IBW indicator: TV/IBW can be calculated as the TV changes, which offers clinicians a clear hint of appropriate tidal volume settings to avoid barotrauma.
Less is More
| Automatic System Check | Customised Profiles |
|
Configuration profiles can be customised and loaded easily for different clinical scenarios or use requirements, including default values, screen layout and system configuration. |
A clearer and brighter workspace
- Clear system status indicators provide clear prompts for certain scenarios to allow easy viewing of the current working mode, and help address malfunctions quickly.
- Illumination around APL valve in manual mode, and adjustable lighting for workspace in low light environments.
For a green operating room
The A9 anaesthesia system employs an anaesthesia gas reduction strategy during surgery to create a better working environment for surgical staff and save anaesthetic agent costs.
| Optimiser | e-AGSS system |
| A series of clinical decision-support tools including Optimiser, AA Prediction and ACA, can advise clinicians of the lower fresh gas flow. | e-AGSS monitors the scavenging flow rate and indicates abnormalities; automatically switches off when in standby to reduce energy consumption. |
Integration and connectivity
Highly flexible integration options allow the A9 anaesthetic machine to work together with a variety of Mindray devices as well as multiple information systems, to meet diverse clinical needs and streamline clinical workflow.
The MIndray A4 Advantage is a flexible anesthesia delivery solution with an adaptive design for effective patient care across a wide range of healthcare facilities.
Workflow is enhanced with the intuitive, touch screen user interface, built-in safety features, ample storage and workspace, and accessory mounting options in an award-winning, ergonomic design.
