BD Vacutainer Plastic Lithium Heparin Tube, Green Hemogard Closure, 6ml - x100
The concentration of the Lithium and Sodium Heparin additive in BD Vacutainer Plasma tubes is 17 International Units of Herparin/ml of blood. The additive in the tube is spray coated on the inner wall.
BD Microtainer™ tubes are used for the collection, transport and processing of capillary or venous blood from skin puncture. It is ideal for use with infants, children, geriatrics and emergency patients whenever only the smallest amounts of blood are required.
The BD Microtainer® contact-activated lancet is a safety-engineered device used for the fingerstick collection of blood. Fingersticks should not be performed on children less than 1 year of age.
Features and Benefits:
BD Vacutainer Plasma Tubes contain Sodium or Lithium Heparin and are used to obtain a plasma sample. The tubes are are available in both plastic and glass, in sizes 2ml, 4ml and 6ml, and are identified with a green cap. The additive in the plastic plasma tube is spray coated onto the inner wall.
BD Vacutainer Heparin tubes can be centrifuged immediately after collection.
