The tester provides a tightly regulated temperature source that eliminates the setup, precision calibration, and maintenance requirements of water baths and other general purpose calibration equipment. The user takes the “temperature” of the 9600 Plus Calibration Tester with the knowledge and assurance that precise readings are obtained because the unit is factory calibrated to National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) or equivalent devices.
