The UV-FAN is predestined for use in rooms where people are present and can be used in 24h operation. The UV FAN is additionally equipped with a TIOX filter (TiO2 photocatalyst) for odour reduction. Unpleasant odours caused by humans and other organic compounds are reduced. The escaping air is simultaneously enriched with oxygen.
The continuous disinfection of the air is an essential measure against the spread of microorganisms and viruses. Nosocomial infections are reliably prevented and people with weakened immune systems are optimally protected. Likewise, the health risk for employees due to infections and the development of multi-resistance due to the otherwise high use of chemical disinfectants is reduced.
