Usbeck Teclubrenner, DIN, double lever, pilot flame, air regulation

The Usbeck Teclub burner has been specially designed for demanding laboratory applications and offers excellent controllability thanks to its double lever, pilot flame and precise air regulation. Compared to conventional laboratory gas burners, this burner impresses with its standard-compliant design in accordance with DIN 30665 and its robust construction, which ensures a long service life even with intensive use.

Versatile functions for professional laboratory use

This Teclub torch offers several advantages for use in laboratories, research facilities and specialist workshops. Its conically widened tube ensures an optimised air supply, which can be finely adjusted using a threaded regulating disc. This allows the gas/air mixture to be precisely adjusted so that controlled and efficient combustion is achieved. When the gas tap is closed, a small flame remains, which complies with standardised safety standards.

With a height of 155 mm and a tube diameter of 14 mm, the burner is easy to integrate into typical laboratory set-ups. The double lever makes it easy to switch quickly between normal and pilot flame, while the regular air supply can be permanently adapted to different gases and flame requirements using the adjustable regulating disc. This means the burner can be used optimally for experiments, heating processes or sterilisation tasks in everyday laboratory work.

Important technical details

- Suitable for natural gas and propane gas
- Reaches up to 1500 °C (natural gas) or 1540 °C (propane gas)
- Consumption of approx. 100 l/h (natural gas) or 60 l/h (propane gas)
- Load between 1.25 kW and 1.5 kW depending on the type of gas
- Weight of 270 g, making it easy to handle
- Head diameter 17 mm for targeted and stable flame
- Adhesive base optionally available

In addition, the burner complies with DIN 30665 and bears the DIN-DVGW reg. no. NG-2211AN0133. These certifications confirm the high safety and quality of the burner, meaning that it fulfils the demanding requirements of laboratories and research facilities. Thanks to its robust design, it is ideal for continuous operation and is characterised by particularly safe handling: The pilot flame continues to burn when the local gas tap is closed to prevent it from going out unexpectedly. Only the central shut-off switches off the gas supply for good.

Concrete areas of application

The burner proves to be extremely useful in many areas: - Heating test tubes and flasks in chemical laboratories
- Sterilisation of instruments such as pipette tips or inoculation loops in microbiological applications
- Carrying out flame samples, especially when analysing alkali and alkaline earth salts
- Rapid heating of solvents or samples in pharmaceutical laboratories

In addition, powdery or solid substances such as metal salts and organic compounds can be safely heated or incinerated to check various chemical reaction processes. Its high flame stability facilitates precise dosing of the heat supply, which is crucial for reproducible results in demanding experimental setups.

FAQs

How does the double lever operation work?

The first lever is used to switch on and fine-tune the main input, while the second lever quickly switches to an economy flame. This means that changing work steps can be carried out without time-consuming re-ignition.

Which gases can be used

The burner is designed for both natural gas and propane gas. Thanks to its adjustable air supply, the gas/air mixture can be optimally regulated for both fuels.

How to clean the burner optimally

It is advisable to dismantle the burner pipe at regular intervals and remove any deposits. Brushes with soft bristles and compressed air can be used for fine spots. In case of heavy soiling, a mild cleaning agent should also be used, which is then rinsed off without leaving any residue.

What needs to be considered in terms of safety

Because of the DIN standard, a small flame continues to burn when the gas tap is closed. Therefore, the central shut-off of the laboratory should always be closed after use. Also ensure safe positioning to avoid burns or damage to laboratory benches.

Can the flame intensity be precisely regulated?

Yes, the ratio of gas to air can be precisely adjusted using the air control disc, which ensures a stable and easily controllable flame.

Conclusion

In many laboratory environments, this DIN-compliant Teclub burner is a reliable standard for safe and efficient heating. Its sophisticated double-lever system enables quick switching between normal and pilot flame, while the precise air regulation ensures a controlled burning performance at all times. Its robust construction and precise adjustment options make it ideal for continuous use. In addition, certified quality standards such as DIN 30665 and DIN-DVGW reg. no. NG-2211AN0133 guarantee a high degree of safety and reliability. Anyone who places great value on quality and convenience will find this burner to be an excellent solution for everyday professional laboratory use.

Q: Saves time

A: This reason might be the most obvious, but it’s a clear benefit of an FAQ page. Not only does the FAQ page save customers time, but it also saves employees time as well. Having an FAQ page ensures customers don’t have to sit on the phone for hours waiting for simple answers, and employees don’t have to individually answer all questions.

Q: Earns trust

A: Information is available at the click of a button, but as we all know, information is not always true. Because of this, customers are more skeptical than ever before. They hunt for products by sifting through reviews, looking at the product on multiple websites, and doing price checking across the internet.

Q: Provides new insights

A: It’s difficult to get into the head of a shopper. Some buy on impulse, and others buy after thorough research. By tracking the clicks on your FAQ page, you can gather insights about your product or service that you didn’t know before. You can then inform your product team of these insights. From there, the product team can make changes to improve the product or experience.

Q: Drives internal page views

A: If you want your FAQ to be extremely thorough, which it should be, you can link to resources within your FAQ for your customers to find out more information. Whether you link to a blog that goes into more detail or a product page, this content helps the shoppers get the full story before making a purchase.

A: Prevents negative reviews

A: When looking through negative reviews, there’s almost always one thing in common: the problem could’ve been avoided.
