ActivHeal® Foam Adhesive is indicated for the following moderate to heavily exuding wounds:
- Pressure ulcers
- Leg ulcers
- Diabetic ulcers
- Post operative surgical
- Cavity wounds (as a secondary dressing)
- Lacerations and abrasions
- Graft wounds and Donor sites
- Superficial and partial thickness burns
ActivHeal® Foam Adhesive is a two layer dressing indicated for moderate to heavily exuding wounds. Each layer of the ActivHeal® Foam Adhesive contributes to the performance of the dressing.
The dressing comprises of a polyurethane absorbent foam pad and a polyurethane membrane. The core of the dressing is a layer of absorbent polyurethane foam which absorbs wound exudate vertically into the dressing. The absorbent pad retains the exudate within the dressing preventing the exudate from re-entering the wound and preventing maceration to the peri wound and surrounding skin. The polyurethane membrane provides an effective barrier function and is waterproof whilst allowing the transpiration of exudate which aids the total fluid handling capacity of the dressing.
Indicated for moderate to heavily exudating wounds. The dressing offers a pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive border ensuring the dressing remains in place allowing the patient to continue everyday activities confidently. The dressing conforms to the contours of the body which reduces the risk of rucking or catching on clothing and bedding.
ACTIVHEAL® FOAM NON-ADHESIVE CREATES A MOIST WOUND HEALING ENVIRONMENT
ActivHeal® Foam Non-Adhesive is a versatile dressing developed to offer protection and absorbency on moderate to heavily exuding wounds.

8m x 10cm Relipore Xtreme Adhesive Dressing Pads Sterile - Box of 50
- Small dressings designed for fingers
- Offers more protection than a plaster
A finger dressing, packaged and designed in such a way that it is possible for the injured person to dress their own finger, when a plaster is not quite adequate. The low adherent pad is attached to a soft bandage for wrapping around the finger. Small and large versions feature a small peelable tab that exposes a sticky patch for adhering the end of the bandage in place. Simple, but highly effective.

CELOX STOPS SEVERE TRAUMATIC BLEEDING.
In a meta-analysis within a combat setting, where minimising treatment time was highly desirable, Celox Gauze outperformed the other haemostatic agents tested, and was the only one to demonstrate a statistically significant improvement in survival, including in the more severely injured.
Of 3,792 cases, a haemostatic dressing was applied in 317 (either Celox, Hemcon or QuikClot). When comparing patients who had a haemostatic dressing applied versus no haemostatic agent, there was a 7% improvement in survival.
Celox was the only individual hemostatic dressing that was associated with a statistically significant improvement in survival, which was most apparent in the more severely injured (NISS 36–75).
Independent comparative tests in the form of a meta-analysis reported a statistically significant improvement in survival with Celox Gauze, compared to alternative agents.
- Published success in the field
- Successfully stops leakage
- Celox gauze was associated with a significantly reduced amount of blood loss after treatment
- Can be used on patients on anticoagulant therapy or patient with trauma induced coagulopathy
- Improved survival
- CE Marked Medical Device
Class III CE Marked Medical Device and approved by BSI.

When to use Sorbsan Flat:
Sorbsan Flat may be used on wounds where there is a moderate to high level of exudate. However, if the wound is not producing high enough exudate levels to gel the Sorbsan fibres, it may be appropriate to change to a different dressing type. Sorbsan Flat is therefore suitable for the management of:
- Partial thickness and full thickness wounds
- Arterial, venous, and diabetic leg ulcers
- Pressure ulcers
- Post-operative wounds
- Fungating lesions
- Following toe-nail avulsions
- Pressure ulcers
- Donor and graft sites
- Traumatic wounds
For superficial, heavily exuding wounds.
Multi-layer Structure:
- Hydrophobic outer surface prevents the dressing from adhering to the wound
- Hydrophilic cellulose fibers quickly pass exudate into the absorbent core
- Green, water repellent, air permeable layer protects against contamination
Superabsorbent Core:
- Soft cellulose fluff blended with a super absorbent polymer which quickly absorbs and retains the exudate
- Can be applied under compression therapy
- Soft consistency provides a pleasant cushioning effect
Features
- Latex-free.
- Easy to use.
