SONY UP-X899MD Video Printer
Product Description
The SONY UP-X899MD video printer is a compact, medically certified black-and-white printer specifically designed for use with medical imaging systems such as ultrasound, mobile C-arms, or in cardiac catheterisation laboratories. Thanks to advanced thermal printing technology with a resolution of up to 325 dpi and 256 greyscales, the device delivers prints in excellent image quality, supporting precise documentation and diagnosis. The print time in high-speed mode is only about 2 seconds per image, ensuring an efficient workflow even with a high patient volume.
The video printer offers both analogue and digital connectivity options, allowing you to flexibly choose between different modalities and systems. The space-saving design enables easy integration into standard medical trolleys or directly under the ultrasound console. The improved dual cutter ensures convenient, safe separation of prints, regardless of the installation position.
SONY places particular emphasis on patient safety and compliance with regulatory requirements: the device complies with IEC 60601-1 and is approved under the European Medical Device Regulation (MDR). For seamless patient records, the printed still images can also be automatically saved to a USB stick. Optionally, wireless printing via the UPA-WU10 wireless solution is possible – ideal for areas with increased hygiene requirements.
The low power consumption, user-friendly operating interface with LCD display, and compatibility with standard thermal papers (UPP110S, UPP110HD, UPP110HG) complete the profile of the video printer and make it a reliable choice for everyday clinical use.
