Uncomplicated temperature regulation
With this model, you can expect a particularly simple solution for temperature regulation. This regulation works electronically and can also be secured with a key. Thanks to the dynamic convection cooling, the contents of the laboratory refrigerator remain evenly cooled. And thanks to the very fine temperature control, your research work or other important contents benefit from the extremely professional cooling conditions.
In addition, the Liebherr refrigerator protects stored substances from sub-zero temperatures. All adjustments and settings are conveniently made at the touch of a button! Depending on the version, use the configuration interface or the built-in buttons.
The lowest appliance temperatures are typically +1 °C to +2 °C. The maximum temperature is 15 °C. The digital display is accurate to 0.1 °C. This gives you extremely accurate information on the cooling temperature.
Automatic defrosting guaranteed!
To make the defrosting process less unpleasant for you, this model is equipped with automatic defrosting. The temporary reversal of the refrigerant circuit under thermal monitoring reduces frost formation. You will then see the evaporation of the condensate in the heated stainless steel bowl directly under the refrigerator base.

The refrigerator is robustly built and has a total cooling capacity of 544 litres. This provides plenty of space and is ideal for storing items such as samples and medicines. Thanks to its practical dimensions, the refrigerator can be optimally installed at your place of use. This increases flexibility considerably.
Use this generous space to professionally store and cool your materials such as samples, food or other research items weighing up to 60 kg. The even surface is elegant yet durable and its practical handle strip convinces with pronounced ergonomics.
The interior of the refrigerator is smooth and therefore particularly easy to clean. In addition, the model is made of durable stainless steel. The noise level is very low at approx. 50 dB(A), so you won't be disturbed by annoying noises.
Furthermore, this Liebherr refrigerator comes with one fixed shelf and four adjustable shelves. They are made of high-quality plastic. The adjustable shelves allow the storage space to be adapted to individual needs. An integrated stopper prevents the shelves from accidentally slipping and damaging the contents.

Interchangeable door hinge
The Liebherr cooling system is equipped with a hinge on the right-hand side. Thanks to its integration into the workstation, the door stop can be replaced quickly and easily. This allows the refrigerator to be optimally installed at the desired workstation and according to your wishes.
Sustainable materials and efficient energy consumption
The MRFvd 5501 will not let you down! The dynamic cooling system ensures good temperature circulation. The result is an extremely homogeneous climate inside the unit. Temperature-sensitive medicines, pharmaceuticals or biological substances thus benefit from optimal storage conditions.
The refrigerator uses the environmentally friendly refrigerants R600a and R290, thus contributing to ideal storage conditions. These substances are particularly environmentally friendly because they have a very low greenhouse effect and do not destroy the ozone layer. These refrigerants have almost completely replaced the previously used refrigerants R134a and R404a.
The operating costs of Liebherr units are always very low. Because sustainable action saves energy. The annual energy consumption of the refrigeration system is approx. 388 kWh/a.
The lockable doors of this model not only protect the stored contents considerably from unauthorised use, but also reduce energy consumption significantly. Temperature deviation or malfunction? Don't worry! The unit's visual and acoustic alarm signals notify you immediately of any unforeseen changes to the equipment!
