This device is a new orbital shaker in the multi-functional mixing device range. It differs from its ancestor Multi PSU-20 not only in a new external design but also by having a direct drive system and a brush-less motor with service life up to 35 000 hours.This orbial shakeris an ideal instrument for different biopharmaceutical and biomedical profile laboratories.
The orbital shaker PSU-20i is designed for application both in small specialised laboratories and in large multidisciplinary laboratories: a choice of nine different interchangeable platforms provides possibility of performing various procedures and techniques. Special attention should be paid to a multilevel platform, which allows accommodation of a large number of various microplates, Petri dishes, cultural bags and other low containers.
Operation of the instrument is noiseless and reliable.It can provide stable continuous mixing for up to 7 daysand can be used in cold rooms or incubators, operating at ambient temperature range +5°C to +40°C. Low voltage external power supply (12 V) provides electrical safety in humid environment.
Motion types Orbital Shaker PSU-20i:
The Shaker is multifunctional; it provides three motion types, which can be performed separately, pairwise and sequentially in repeated cycles.
A) Orbital motion = Simple orbital motion with an option of shifting direction (clockwise/anti-clockwise) after set time

- Motion timer 0 - 250 sec (for switching to the next motion in the cycle or for changing direction on the opposite)
- General operation timer 1 min - 96 hours (increment 1 min)
B) Reciprocating Rotation motion = Orbital motion with shifting direction of rotation
- Regulated speed 0 - 250 RPM (same as in Orbital motion)
- Motion timer 0 - 250 sec (for switching to the next motion in the cycle)
- Regulated turning angle 0° - 360° (increment 30°)
- General operation timer 1 min - 96 hours (increment 1 min)
C) Vibration mode = High speed, low amplitude motion
- Regulated turning angle 0° - 5° (increment 1°).
