Activon Tulle is a knitted viscose mesh primary dressing impregnated with 100% Medical Grade Manuka honey. This triple-layer dressing is designed to create a moist healing environment while providing powerful antibacterial action. The mesh material is conformable and non-adherent, allowing good wound coverage while reducing pain and trauma on dressing change.
Activon Tulle is perfect for use on granulating or shallow wounds, and it’s an excellent choice when debriding or de-sloughing small areas of necrotic or sloughy tissue. You can apply Activon Tulle to any wound, but it’s especially effective for pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, diabetic ulcers, surgical wounds, burns, graft sites, infected wounds, cavity wounds, and sinuses.
Indications: Please note to monitor patients with diabetes, and don’t use Activon Tulle if you’re allergic to bee venom. Discomfort may be experienced when honey is applied, but it usually subsides after a short period. If it doesn’t, discontinue use and irrigate the wound with saline solution.
