The Grant Instruments Controlled Rate Freeze Thaw (CRFT) is a benchtop cryopreservation freezer/thawer supplied with a rigid black Peli case. It is designed to provide controlled freezing and thawing without liquid nitrogen, alcohol or conventional cryogens.
Overview
The CRFT is intended for research and clinical laboratory sample workflows requiring reproducible cooling rates and sample temperature control. Interchangeable heads are ordered separately, allowing the system to be adapted to vials, straws, PCR plates and other supported formats depending on selected head configuration.
