The XQ Instruments SDB-1R benchtop dispenser module is an automated version of the SDB-1 dispenser for batch processing of microtubes or vials. The dispenser is operated via touch screen controller which synchronizes dispensing and the moving of the vial rack.

XQ Instruments MCD-13 Capping and De-capping Machine for Microtubes
The XQ Instruments MCD-13 Microcapper helps attaching screw caps on microtubes. It improves occupational health & safety and process integrity. Has a capping-de-capping rate of 10-15 caps-minute.
The microcapper can be adjusted to a wide range of screw cap sizes with diameters of 12 mm - 24mm. In adjusting the capping wheels are moved laterally to come closer together or further apart by rotating one lead screw which actuates both sides.
The microcapper MCD-13 can be cutsomised for different container sizes and applications.
The height of the machine can be changed by replacing the vertical structure below the capping mechanism with parts of different size. The tube holder slider can be replaced with bottle holders of verious configurations and sizes.

Consistency Manual screw capping introduces variation in the torque applied to tighten the caps. Consistent torque provided by our Microcappers prevents leakage of tubes, especially during transportation.
Health & Safety XQ screw capping machines alleviate operator fatigue and reduce possibility of occupational health issues such as carpal tunnel syndrome which frequently occur in manual lab capping.
Consistent tightening of the caps is ensured to prevent leakage during transportation. The MCD-13 reduces operator’s hand fatigue. It is known that hazards such as carpal tunnel syndrome can result from the repetitive strain of manually tightening screw caps, making mechanical capping important.
Designed for capping of screw caps on 13mm tubes typically used in laboratories for the preparation and processing of samples and reagents, the MCD-13 works for various cap, vial and tube sizes. The bench top device is compact, a footprint of less than half an A4 paper, and portable.
The product is user friendly and can be operated with minimum training. Caps are manually placed on each tube, before loading onto holder and pushing in for capping. A de-capping function is also provided.

It can dispense much larger dose sizes and has a bigger reservoir compared to the SDB-1. Can achieve a typical single dose size between 5mg - 25g!

The laboratory dosing solution increases lab productivity and at the same time ensures process accuracy. Compared to other techniques the volumetric solids dispensing is particularly fast (2.5-3.5sec. per dose). Due to its compact benchtop configuration the SDB-2 is easy to integrate in the workflow and alleviates tedious repetitive tasks.
The dispensing heads are interchangeable to enable quick processing of several materials with different dose size and no cross-contamination without cleaning steps. The dispensing head can dispense from 20 mg up to 50 grams and more as well as multiples.
